As a budget analyst my duties include providing a salary projection for current on board, for lump sum payments and for vacancies. I track expenditures against awards, travel and operating allocations. I pull reports from the financial system to obtain data to populate a status of funds spreadsheet. I process interagency agreements and revenue agreements. I review spend plans, phase plans and end of year estimates. I provide budget guidance and advice.

As a Budget Tech in the Budget Division, I was responsible for running the front office. I answered the phones, opened mail and maintained the Director's calendar. I provided a status of funds for the budget division and the financial management division. I submitted my work to a budget analyst for review each month.

I provided outstanding service to the Director. I handled the day to day office workload. Answered phones, took messages, set up meetings, filed, processed mail, faxed etc. I provided assistance to secretaries in the other units under the Director. I hosted monthly meetings with them to keep the Director aware of Division activities.
