Willie Tan is the CEO of Luen Thai Enterprises Limited, SKECHERS China Limited and Century Tours Limited. He has more than 30 years of business management experience in various disciplines including apparel and fishing, logistics including cargo airline and shipping, wholesale and retail operations, hotel, travel and tours, insurance, finance and health care services. He oversees two privately held businesses Luen Thai Enterprises and Tan Holdings Corporation. The former one is based in Hong Kong while the latter is based in the Northern Marianas. The two groups have investments and operations located in China, United States, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Micronesia and the Western Pacific.Willie joined the Luen Thai group of businesses in July of 1985 and held the position of executive vice president and later on as chief operating officer until September 2005 for Luen Thai Holdings Limited, the publicly listed apparel division of the group. He was instrumental in the innovation of the company’s business model which prepared the company to successfully preparation for the post-quota era after 2005. During his tenure, the apparel operations expanded its product development and manufacturing capabilities from knit and woven wear, to sleepwear, intimate wear, pants and shorts, sports and active wear, and ladies’ fashion.In recent years, Willie Tan has been dedicated to the group businesses on tourism, retail, real estates, fishing and logistics business. Century Tours is the affiliate company of Luen Thai Enterprises operates outbound tourism in China to destinations in the CNMI (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands). He launched the joint venture business with Skechers USA in China since 2007.
