With over 20+ years of experience in the fashion industry, I am a passionate and versatile design director who leads the design of all boy apparel at Appaman, a children's clothing brand based in New York. I handle all aspects of design, from conceptualization and sketching to tech packs and product development, while overseeing other parts of the department.I travel to China twice a year to work closely with factories and mills, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. I also coordinate with photographers in catalog development, and collaborate with merchandising and sales teams in strategizing and projecting the season. My expertise in cut and sew knits, wovens, and outerwear, as well as my proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, enables me to create and adapt designs that meet the needs and preferences of today's constantly changing market.
