• In May of 2010, following the mild success of their self-titled release in the tri-state area; the original three members of New Liberty: Shane Mac, Diezel Bottoms, and Willi Love, quit their respectable jobs, moved into a 1976 motorhome and traveled to California, where they lived in that motorhome for over a year before upgrading. The Uninvited was recorded at Satellite Studios, and includes 11-tracks that pay homage to the bygone era of 1980s Sunset Strip rock in the vein of Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue, and also comes with a enough songwriting chops to separate themselves from the chin rock masses currently flooding rock radio.• The Sewer, Can’t Be Divided, and Me & My Whiskey from the debut album The Uninvited all found placements on MTV’s hit show Ridiculousness, hosted by Rob Dyrdek.• The band frequents the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, TX; including 9 shows in 5 days in 2012, and 7 shows in 5 days in 2013. The past year was busy for New Liberty including 4 self-managed, funded, booked, distributed, and promoted tours through the Southwest, and one tour through the Northwest.• New material is being recorded at the Bright Mountain Studios in Tehachapi, CA with famed underground producer Roger Leo Camero. Working on a new music model, the band is releasing singles with artwork from different artists. Limited addition 45s will be released periodically, leading up to a full length LP that will contain all the artwork for all of the singles combined.• The Future for New Liberty includes a European tour that is being planned for the latter part of 2013. A documentary is in the works from Garrett Combs for Red Sparrow Media, which shows the struggles of being a DIY rock band in today’s music business. Show less
