Will is a London based visual artist working with photography, moving image and installation, his practice exploring memory, duration, history of place, architecture, psychology and politics. The relationship of the past – and its monuments – to the present and future features strongly in his practice.Recent experiences as a prominent activist against the proposed Garden Bridge (www.abridgetoofar.co.uk) inform his artistic and social concerns, and also feeds into his academic research and writings on architecture and neoliberalism. I write for a range of outputs, from art and architecture reviews, culture writing and academic texts.In September 2018 I was published in Regeneration Songs: Sounds of Investment and Loss from East London on Repeater Books. My chapter, "Jean Michel Jarman: The Last of Docklands" considered the Millennium Mills building in the Royal Docks as the last remaining survivor of the old docks through the neoliberal period, and considered its function in arts including by Jean Michel Jarre and Derek Jarman.

I worked in a number of positions at JW3 over its first five years. This has required a wide range of administrative and logistical abilities, including but not limited to managing databases and overseeing processes, working to schedules and deadlines, assisting with contracts and managing project finances, keeping systems up to date and operating as a key member of the team both vertically within the line-management system and horizontally inter-departmentally to coordinate with colleagues in Building Management, Operations, Production, Box Office, Finance and Volunteering.I worked in the Programming Team both as a Cultural Programmer and in administrative support, In the Programming Team I assisted day-to-day programming of a wide range of cultural, learning and health events and worked as a cultural programmer and organising a range of events, including:● Organising an in-conversation between Daniel Libeskind and Samira Ahmad, in partnership with London Festival of Architecture.● Co-organising GAYW3, a week-long LGBTQI festival.● Co-organising a week-long Battle of Cable Street anniversary festival.● Co-organising two Labour leadership hustings and one London Mayoral hustings.● Curation of an art installation comprising of three distinct artists' work, in partnership with London Festival of Architecture.● Chairing panel discussions and Q&A events.● Programming and managing a range of cultural walks, talks and screenings.
