Will Jones is Senior Vice President at Carahsoft Technology Corp. As a member of the executive management team since the company’s inception, Will has played a key role in the company’s record year-over-year growth, culminating in bookings of $16B in 2023. Specifically, Will has led the strategic growth and development of Carahsoft’s VMware and virtualization-related business units focused on the federal, state and local government, education and healthcare markets. In 2018, Will co-led the launch of Carahsoft’s partnership with AWS – Carahsoft now offers the full range of AWS solutions, alongside VMware Cloud on AWS, to the public sector. In this role, he manages a 300+ member team of sales, marketing, channel, operations, and technical representatives who work with our vendors to enable their public sector channel and grow revenue across all markets. His business development and government market expertise consistently deliver double- and triple-digit growth rates for many of the partners his team supports, and he has been highly successful in securing key, multi-year government-wide and agency-specific contracts.Prior to joining Carahsoft, Will served as a Strategic Account Manager for Federal at CareerBuilder and as a Sales Manager at DLT Solutions, a value-added reseller focused on the public sector, where he directed the government e-commerce strategy.In recognition of his contribution both the technology community and the channel, Will received a Government Channel Leadership award from Washington Technology magazine.
