Programmer in a team of engineers responsible for modeling and analyzing systems critical for next-generation clean energy fusion power plants. Performed detailed conversions of technical datasets into manageable forms via python, MATLAB, and C. Data was incorporated into concise presentations and reports, providing direction for future technical decisions to a team of engineering managers. Established trends and outliers of physical engineering systems through custom simulations and database analysis code packages. Discovered patterns that allowed for a more informed and intuitive decision-making process for various projects amongst the engineering team.

Collaborated with a doctoral candidate on a device seeking to mimic radiation profiles of particular interest to national security purposes. Conducted detailed modeling and analysis of the experimental apparatus and data gathered during the project. Required extensive knowledge of data processing through programs such as python.

Implemented and executed an optimized work plan for the regulatory services department by reviewing the power plant’s operational procedures and technical documents. The updated work plan provided valuable information for co-workers in completing current and upcoming assignments. Assisted regulators in understanding and documenting the regulatory environment of nuclear power plants. This included inspecting plant systems regarding the relevant regulatory framework.

Worked as a Student Researcher at the 88' cyclotron at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Assisted in constructing a new super-conducting magnet for the next-generation "Venus" ion source. Gained experience in super-conducting magnet design and the manufacturing methods of Niobium-titanium coils.

Research assistant on the high flux neutron generator at the University of California, Berkeley. Gained experience in the production of neutrons through a deuterium-deuterium fusion reaction. Learned much about experimental design and construction.
