With over 2 years of combined experience in mechanical, biomedical, and photonics engineering, I am a versatile and creative professional who can design, test, and build solutions for various challenges. I have an MSe in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, where I focused on entrepreneurship and design, and a BS in the same field from Tulane University, where I gained hands-on experience in labs and workshops.Most recently, I was a Mechanical Design Engineer at Blue Innovations Group, where I contributed to the development of an electric boat prototype. I designed key components and systems, researched and sourced materials, manufactured and assembled parts, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and ran simulations to ensure structural soundness and safety. Previously, I also worked as a Photonics Engineer at Atlantic Photonic Solutions Limited, where I designed and tested a system of high-power UV lights to eradicate pests in salmon farming. I have skills in CATIA, Fusion 360, Inkscape, MATLAB, Excel, and various machining tools, as well as a conversational knowledge of Spanish.
