Retired commercial pilot and flight instructor, and college administrator. Currently leading an active life serving on the Daly City Library Board of Trustees (VP), formerly a board member of the Daly City Public Library Associates, working at the SFO International Airport Aviation Museum & Library, volunteering with the California State Parks Foundation, and staying fit with exercise classes and yoga. My newest project is to build a relationship between Alveole/Urban Beekeepers, the Daly City Libraries, the Library Board of Trustees and the library foundation to establish a hive on the roof of one or more libraries to propagate honey bees, to diminish fear of bees, to harvest honey, and to expand public knowledge and appreciation of bee ecology and the vital role they play in agriculture, the food chain, and human welfare.
