An authentic and passionate business leader, Will is a seasoned finance and accounting professional that brings over 20 years of diverse business experience working with private companies and large international public companies in the Renewables, Power and Utilities, Energy and Consumer Products sectors. Currently, Will serves as the Renewables Sector Leader leveraging the RSM network to create comprehensive solutions for companies in the industry focusing on cleantech.Will is an advisor who partners with companies to navigate through complex transactions, business combinations, new accounting standards, and offerings. Most recently as the Co-Leader of RSM’s Capital Markets practice, Will provides timely counsel to business teams throughout the lifecycle of a SPAC or an IPO listing process while working collaboratively with all stakeholders (investment banks, law firms, auditors, financial consultants, and other parties) to achieve premium value. Will’s significant exposure working with senior executives, audit committees, and board of directors coupled with a deep understanding of corporate structures, operations and business processes allows him to provide timely counsel that equips business teams managing through complex business transactions. During his time at a Big Four firm, which included a national office consultant role, Will developed a deep knowledge of SEC rules and regulations and capital markets transactions. His experience allows him to collaborate with key stakeholders to provide value in advancing an organization’s strategic goals and vision. Business development, growth initiatives, employee network groups, leading large, diverse teams, talent strategy, and developing business strategy are key areas of Will’s leadership experience. In addition, Will presented at various conferences and webcasts and contributed to thought leadership publications. Will is passionate about adding value to others, developing leaders, and deepening valuable relationships with clients, colleagues, and friends. As an active leader in national and local cultural, diversity and inclusions (CD&I) initiatives, Will advances CD&I strategies through his roles as the Houston office Leader of RSM's Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement (HOLA), member of Working Parents, and former Vice President of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Furthermore, Will served as an Oklahoma Regional Board of Junior Achievement board member. Currently, Will and his family reside in the Greater Houston Area.
