My work was later featured in a segment on John Oliver's 'Last Week Tonight'• Community Impact - I played an integral part of helping KGW's Great Toy Drive campaign deliver over $1 million in toys and supplies to local kids and deepening the station’s relationship with the community by art directing and designing hundreds of digital, print, and motion graphics.• Leadership: As a creative manager, I've lead and built creative teams from the ground up, mentored new talent, and reintroduced research into our promotional strategy, which resulted in the highest Nielsen ratings book in the station's history and defended our position as the #1 station in the market.For me, making brands more human isn’t just about creating great work—it’s about crafting stories and experiences that leave a lasting impact. Multimedia Producer - Digital Content
As the digital arm of Fox 12's marketing and creative team, I'm a bit of a Swiss army knife. I work on anything including (but not limited to) producing video ad campaigns, writing and editing content for the web, social media strategy, digital display ad design, pulling analytics, etc. Accomplishments:- Nominated for an Emmy award for my 2019 "Mark Knows Weather" video ad campaign.- Boosted our TV station's app store downloads by more than 8,000 users in one week (including a 390% increase year to year) via strategic social media campaign design and buying.- Expanded our sponsored web page capabilities via our CMS to give our clientele more control over page design and features.- Designed and implemented some of our station's first email marketing campaigns.- Transitioned our digital display ad design process from being outsourced to in-house.- Produced multiple TV ad campaigns that distinguished our already robust brand and voice even further.- Managed much of our annual Toy Drive promotional campaign in 2018 and 2019 in support of Portland-area families in need.- Acted as official ambassador as part of our partnership with the American Heart Association AND beat our historic fundraising record (Annual Heart Walk, Go Red for Women Luncheon & Heart Ball Gala).
