Will is a digital, animation, and tv / film executive with a successful track record in leading media strategy and scaling product launches & programming to millions of consumers and devices. Currently, Will is leading multiple new digital ventures as Entrepreneur in Residence at a Los Angeles-based boutique venture strategy, investment, and capital firm. From 2015-2024, Will was Senior Vice President, Business Development & Digital at Ovation Television. Reporting to the CEO, Will led all business development, including strategy, M & A, and partnerships; as well as P & L for the digital lines of business: OTT Video Networks (including JOURNY, OvationNOW, and Mystery Alley); Digital & Social Media; and new technology & emerging platforms. In leading Ovation's new business initiatives, in 2017 Will founded JOURNY.tv. JOURNY quickly became the leading travel culture FAST (free ad-supported streaming) and AVOD channel for Gen Z and Millennials. In 2021, JOURNY won the Cynopsis "Best of the Best" award for Best AVOD Network. Will led JOURNY from inception to distribution on 300MM+ devices in the US and Canada. JOURNY and its content was powered by diversity on "both sides" of the camera; that commitment was further reflected in the team that led and operated the network. Prior to Ovation, from 2013-2015, Will led the business development and affiliate relations teams in Los Angeles for Intel Corporation’s Intel Media division, which was acquired by Verizon Corp in 2014. Will led strategy and deal flow with US media networks, professional sports leagues, and internet brands. Before joining Intel, for three years Will was GM at Monkey Wrangler Productions, home of the animated series + video game "Your Dungeon, My Dragon." Will produced the award-winning production, notable as the first-ever animated series with integrated game on the Xbox Live platform. Will also produced animated and live-action pilots for Twentieth Television, Comedy Central, YouTube Originals, and Hasbro. Prior, Will served as Vice President, Business Development at ComcastNBCU; and Director, Business and Corporate Development at The Walt Disney Company.In 2023, Will was elected to the Board of Directors of The BroadStage in Santa Monica, CA. He is also an active and voting member and Peer Group Moderator at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (The Emmys); and a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic "1919" Gala Committee. Will received his BA from Brandeis University, and has completed graduate certifications in Finance and Strategy at UCLA.
