Reporting to the CTO of the company, I am in charge of the "Special Projects" group. This entails providing oversight for projects which require special attention within the company. Some of these projects have included our Knowledge Management systems, our virtualized infrastructure offering, client service portal, and synthetic transaction monitoring. I am the primary architect for our USiPinnacle service. USiPinnacle is our virtualized architecture which includes virtualization across all layers of the datacenter. My responsibilities include hardware design and testing, VMware testing, load balancer and network accelerator testing, etc.

While at Enterasys, I was responsible for testing their Dragon intrusion detection product. This included testing as well as developing a lot of testing methodology which did not exist at the time. I also stepped in and assisted with maintenance on a number of lab servers.I assumed the role as manager of the testing group towards the end of my employment with Enterasys.

I began my employment at USi as an application engineer providing level 3 support for Broadvision web applications. Within a short period of time I transitioned to an internal development group that revolutionized the monitoring and configuration management of USi's datacenters and servers. I was responsible for developing perl applications for this internal system.

While at Sitestar, I was responsible for developing CGI applications for clients. These included database driven content for websites, e-commerce shopping systems, a web based email client, and many other applications. In addition, I was responsible for overseeing a small staff of web site designers and graphic artists.I also assisted with the daily maintenance of our linux systems which included mail and web servers and a RADIUS authentication system.
