- Designed Python algorithm to calculate location of carbon from measured values and defined a new approach to measuring soil quality for agricultural needs - Analyzed large data sets with Python utilizing super computer cluster - Designed and optimized alpha detectors and gamma detectorsPublications:Co-author for a research paper written on the position measurements of the alpha particle that was submitted as a conference proceedings for CAARI and will be published in 'AIP Conference Proceedings'.Additionally, another paper is in the works regarding the time measurements of the alpha particle.

- Engineered a magneto-optical trap to laser cool atoms for future students to investigate wave-particle duality in a laboratory setting - Worked hands on in an optics lab to investigate alternatives for a more economical fiber to guide high energy laser pulses

- Started and organized the first Formula SAE Electric Club at CSU, Chico to help students face new challenges and gain experience in alternative energy engineering - Presented to The Board for Instructionally Related Activities to appeal for funding - Granted $15,000 in funding and recruited over 50 students in the first year - Officer of the Brake and Tire system and a core member of the suspension team
