Products Developed:RenAM 500M (Metal AM Machine)Selected to be placed on the graduate placement programme, ultimately being located in Additive Manufacturing Products Division.Development of a supporting ancillary device for responsible Safe Change Filter end-of-life management, utilising several months of feedback from machine operators to inform the production design intent.Supported the RenAM 500M development team in various module development - electronic enclosures, sheet metal machine covers development, ultrasonic sieve development, door handle, etc. Developing 3D CAD models in Siemens NX & Teamcentre, and producing BS8888 compliant production drawings.Developing the machine to ensure design for functionality, safety, manufacture, assembly, service-ability, and procurement were met.

1 week work experience, evolved into a 4 week summer placement, evolved into a 12 month part time employment.Reported directly to the Research & Development Director identifying, defining and developing additive manufacturing ancillary equipment.Supported by the wider engineering team in technical machine understanding and mechanical engineering training.Developed a Proof-of-Concept Prototype for a supporting ancillary device for responsible Safe Change Filter end-of-life management.
