I am a second-year medical student at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, holding a degree in Biotechnology from Rutgers University. With research experience in anesthesiology, radiation oncology, urology, orthopedic surgery, oncology, dermatology, and nanoparticle research, I am committed to advancing both clinical care and medical research.I have been published in the Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft and presented my research at the Society for Investigative Dermatology Annual Meeting. My dermatology research focused on the epidemiological prevalence of female hirsutism and the relationship between hematological malignancies and malignant melanoma. I’ve also been published in urology, co-authoring a case report.Previously, I assisted in designing experimental protocols and creating novel nanoparticle vectors to deliver DNAzymes, facilitating endosomal escape and downregulation of interferon regulatory factor-5 (IRF-5) for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. As part of my academic journey, I have gained significant clinical experience. As a Critical Care Technician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, I assisted in stabilizing patients in emergency and critical care settings. I also served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where I contributed to managing clinical trials focused on cancer therapeutics. I volunteer at the NYULISOM WISH Clinic, a student-run free clinic for underserved populations, where I assist with basic clinical exams and patient education on chronic disease management. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to patient-centered care, advancing medical research, and serving vulnerable communities, all of which lay a strong foundation for my medical career. In addition to founding a Medical School Advising Program, which has successfully helped 74 students gain admission to medical school with a 96% success rate, I serve as a Representative on the Evolving Physician Education Committee at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, where I contribute to shaping medical education policies and initiatives. I am also an Admissions Committee Officer at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, assisting in selecting the next generation of medical professionals. Additionally, I mentor underrepresented students as a Mentor with the Envision Scholars Academy.I am passionate about advancing healthcare through research, clinical care, and education, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and guiding future medical students through the admissions process.
