My creative practice ranges from illustration and fine art photography to the production of small scale sets and props for stop motion and theater. I often explore tactile and cinematic themes and use lighting and exaggeration to invoke the surreal and whimsical feeling of childhood. My goal is to always tell a story with everything I make and to build worlds into which people can immerse themselves and explore. - Graphic design for new product campaigns, social media promotions, and website graphics including buttons and banners. - Social media content production for Instagram and Facebook including still images, stories, gifs, and videos. Content scheduling through Instagram and Facebook as well as Hoot Suite and Mailchimp.- Product photography, image acquisition, stop-motion and videography. - Writing and editing blog articles and newsletters on Wordpress and Mailchimp.- Maintenance and revisions to existing website (Wordpress) and online sales platform (Big Commerce), including writing product descriptions, adding and updating product entries, and improving website navigation and product organization and representation.

Recording and processing the sale and acquisition of products using Big Business and Big Commerce. Store layout and product placement. Order and shipment processing using Ship Station. Customer service, phone call and email processing.

Clay mixing: Production of 1 ton batches of clay for use in the ceramics industry. Machine maintenance, measuring of dry and wet materials, record keeping, labeling and packaging for warehouse storage.Warehouse: Warehouse organization using manual and electric pallet jacks, inventory maintenance, and order processing.

The 2019 season presents: Shakespeare in Love. The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival annually produces a summer theater production in Southmoreland Park which hosts an average of 2,000 guests per night. Every year the entire festival components are hauled in and assembled anew, allowing for an in-depth education the making of a festival and a stage. My duties included: - Spotlight operation- Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance- Install and maintenance of theatrical lights, lenses, gels, gobos, and fog machines- Festival setup of tents, cables, and park lighting- Load-in of scaffolding and stage

- Prop design and creation for stop motion- Cut paper and Machine cut paper- Foam sculpting, Flocking and Painting

-Customer Service: Answer calls, Check books in/ out, Operate a cash register, Assist in locating books.-Tech Support: Assist patrons with printer and computer difficulties.-Organization: Shelve books according to the Library of Congress classification system.-Maintenance of research materials: Catalogue, tag, sort, and record books, magazines, and newspapers, as well as salvaging damp or damaged books.

I contributed work to the shows "Animal Amigos" and "The Little Prince" (performed at the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium). My work here included: - Puppet design and construction (shadow puppets and stick puppets)- Prop and backdrop design, construction, and painting- Prop repair- Maquette sculptingMesner Puppet Theater is a globally known professional puppet theatre company based in Kansas City, Missouri. The company performs a local season of plays as well as tours nationally and internationally to more than 30,000 audiences annually and is a member of the Theatre Communications Group (the national association of professional theatres) and a touring partner with the Mid-American Arts Alliance and the Missouri Arts Council.

MICRO is an illustration and design agency operation out of the Kansas City Art Institute which takes on jobs from clients in the Kansas City area.
