I am dedicated to a career of teaching yoga as a practice for self care, spiritual health, community engagement, healing, physical and mental health and generally for the improvement of an individual and community’s overall health and well being. My experience comes from a long term, personal practice for healing which expanded into an in depth education, research and training which has led this healing art to become an ultimate passion of mine. This passion inspires me to continue training and offering yoga in many ways so I may meet people where they are in order to help to improve community livelihood and individual healing from illness, injury or even trauma. My yoga classes are rooted in the traditional practices and philosophy of yoga and described in current life terms in order to serve a meaningful, transformative experience filled with tangible tools for practitioners to apply in their every day life off the mat as well.
