I am keen on applying the best of my abilities towards the betterment of myself and my passions! I always seek to utilize my skill set in order to increase productivity and efficiency, while remaining upbeat and working with my team to accomplish any task.I have experience with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, robotics, and programming. These topics have given me a broader understanding of how the combination of digital programming and mechanical technology can be used to achieve nearly any task, even autonomously.I have gained working experience with system automation for a wide variety of applications, in which I was required to read and draw electrical schematics while also performing any required programming for the HMIs, PLCs, and drives. Overseeing on-site installations of the systems I created was commonplace, as was providing technical support remotely to our customers. Additionally, I have worked in factory settings to improve existing systems to increase efficiency, reduce man-hours, safety, and reduce environmental impact.The world’s first Unmanned Aircraft Systems Applications certificate from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi was awarded to me, which recognizes my proficiency with multiple factors of UAS (drone) operation, ranging from programming to image processing to mechanical design. My final school project was to build and program a drone which was capable of autonomously centering itself in a 3D using sonar sensor! In addition to this, I have also gained my Part 107 Unmanned Aircraft Pilot certification from the FAA, allowing me to legally fly drones commercially.My background has provided me with the ability to tackle difficult situations, enabling me to find novel solutions to challenging problems with high pressure deadlines. As I move forward in my career, I look forward to finding new opportunities and challenges to overcome!
