If the merchandise didn't belong inside the belly of the store, I wouldn't allow it to come in.Out on the floor, as I checked price integrity and stocked the shelves, I had the pleasure of standing with the heart of the store.My customers. They are the heartbeat.From the backdoor, through the guts of the store and back towards the front, helping customers along the way, there are so many opportunities to learn about the strong limbs, the legs and arms.Never miss an opportunity.On the front line as a customer service clerk, accounting assistant and assistant customer manager, that's where the adrenaline spikes. The blood rushes through the veins.The body is on the run and the second high kicks in.In the four stores I worked in at Harris Teeter, each had a life of it's own.
