The importance of a strong web presence and the utilization of technical tools became obvious to me when I co-founded a tea start-up in Chicago, Illinois. Later, after I relocated to Seattle, Washington and became a sales representative for a brewery, I continued to use software every day to find and connect with future customers, and to collect and organize the data of current clients.One day I had the realization: someone had to create this software that made my life so much easier, and that that sounded like a very exciting and challenging proposition.This led me to research education options in the field of web development and software engineering. I’m currently enrolled as a full-time student at Epicodus coding academy where I learn a variety of cutting edge languages and technologies that include: javascript, react, C#, and .NET. When I finish my internship, I plan on a long and exciting career as a web developer.
