Over a 2 month period our T&I team researched Artificial Intelligence along with conducting various interviews with higher-end Deloitte employees involved in certain domains. Once that research was complete we created our own automated chatbot within Deloitte’s personal database using Python and JSON and completed it in a 3 week period. Along with that I had the pleasure of competing in the Innovation Challenge which puts us in separate teams away from our normal day to day team. Our task was to come up with a prototype using AI that can benefit the workplace. The prototype our team came up with was being able to use AI to help the hearing impaired, whether that is using it through your mobile device, or through avatars to produce close captions that they can read on their screen. Our team ended up winning this challenge and hope to see this technology implemented in this way in the future.
