Streamlined their IT Departments working environment by establishing technical and operational standards, and through my knowledge and experience I was able to steer them through their transition to an Enterprise level organisation. • Negotiated and Managed service contracts; Vendors, and arranged SLA and set SLO's.• Consolidated technical expenditures by $100K during first fiscal year. Saved over $4,000 per month on telecommunication costs.• Accountable to act as support manager for Skyway's Coast to Coast operations, encompassing over 100 users and systems. • Merged 7 Branches, 1 Sister Company and 15 Satellite operations previously unsupported, into one WAN, with full remote access, including WOL, WOW capability.• Guided the design, development and delivery of departmental upgrade of all Telecommunication Equipment, Cellphones, Blackberry's, Landline and VOIP on an MPLS system.• Instituted Disaster Recovery Procedures with server replace time of under 12 hours and using a Fault Tolerant Cluster and Virtual Servers, a downed server would be running in under 3 minutes.• Consulted with the CEO, CFO, VP's and other decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Designed and Developed an ERP for Volvo Europe. Responsible for a large proportion of the $ 40 million development budget. Also responsible for researching, planning and recommending software and system choices to meet the organization's business requirements. • Designed and Developed financial package for Volvo Europe’s ERP system. The Financial system had to work in 15 different Languages, Currencies and Account practices.• Trained Staff and End Users in the configuration and use of the Financial Application, and how best to use it for each of the countries involved.• Project managed a team of 20 developers and Ambassador Users, and maintained budgetary control of a $ 40 million project.• Supervised and provided technical assistance and direction to programmers and programmer/analysts working on this and other computer Projects.
