Drove standardization of infrastructure and automated delivery systems for all products, decreasing costs while increasing security and service levels. Responsible for all high volume web properties at Sun Microsystems, including java.com, java.sun.com, www.sun.com, downloads, social media, ecommerce and hosted sites including javafx, opensolaris.org and openjdk. Frequently implemented new hardware and software products to give product engineering real world feedback. Managed two datacenters, 150+ engineers and contractors, and budget in excess of 20M$/yr. Responsible for all capital expense purchases for Sun's web group, Dot Sun (~3M$/yr). Traveled extensively as staff was globally distributed.
