I started my full-time career in John Deere's Supply Management Development Program (SMDP) at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL. With 90 acres sitting under its roof, Harvester Works is the largest combine factory in the world. I graduated from NC State University with a bachelor's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management in May of 2021. I have an entrepreneurial mindset, which led to the creation of a business that I owned and operated - Will’s Pet Sitting and Lawn Service. My business grew through word-of-mouth and I began developing a strong network. My capacity and motivation for hard work did not stop there.In 2018, I applied to be a Freight Brokerage Intern at XPO Logistics. I was rejected, but I remained in contact, followed up, and accepted an offer the following summer. In 2020, I was an intern at John Deere as a Supply Chain Management Intern. This internship was virtual due to COVID-19, but it did not impact my ability to network and complete meaningful work. Each experience provided me with unique opportunities for growth and development, both professionally and personally.
