Employing and contracting a global team of over 150 industry and technical experts who support the company's mission of improving safety and efficiency through the utilisation of aviation data and digital workflow solutions.As the Business Operations Manager, I am responsible for HR and People Operations, working with employees and leaders to ensure the day to day operations of the business run smoothly. HR responsibilities include: Advising ELT members on ER, creating policies, developing recruitment pipelines and guidance and providing training where required.Operationally, my goal is to streamline all HR and internal processes including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, talent management, payroll, partnering with various teams to ensure each of these tasks are as lean as possible. In addition to this, I've implemented a HRIS (bob) and project manage various stages of the company integration as tooling is selected to allow the teams to work as effectively as possible. I also collaborate with various cross functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance through our day to day operations, ensuring we remain compliant with employment laws, customer audits and our accreditations with ISO.

Codeweavers is a SaaS company providing digital tooling to the automotive industry to make finding and purchasing vehicles an efficient process. During my time at Codeweavers I partnered with managers with their recruitment as we grew from 60 to 140 employees. I also supported the company directors in the company sale to Cox Automotive, completing in March 2021. This was a standalone role, responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of all new starters, ensuring each and every new joiner understood and bought into the unique fast paced, agile, people-first culture the company had. Additionally, I was responsible for HR tasks including: HR strategy, advising on disciplinary or grievance cases, running investigations, providing talks and training, maintaining and creating HR policies, creating working groups for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), supporting appraisals and as a mental health first aider, providing direct support and guidance to individuals where required. Through my responsibilities for being an advocate of the company culture I also ran feedback surveys and sessions to ensure our team had a voice, ran a best companies survey and organised a wide range of both on-site and online events to keep the team connected and engaged.I value continuous improvement, optimising processes to remove barriers from people and allowing them to be at their best.During my time at Codeweavers, the company supported me in completing a Masters in Strategic HRM (Associate CIPD, level 7) to aid me in my role.
