Strategic executive advisory role, consulting and partnering across Synapse’s Customer Services, Technology, and G&A executives and their senior leaders to directly support their talent strategy and enable company-wide people programs, all in an effort to scale Synapse’s HR practices and enhance employee engagement. In this role, I had the opportunity to leverage expertise in multiple disciplines of HR, including performance management, leadership coaching, HR program management, and compensation strategy. Significant achievements include:- Developed and implemented Synapse's first compensation program for cash and equity, leveraging a market-data approach to establish new values and philosophies, ultimately establishing Synapse as a more competitive option for strong talent as we scaled.- Established Synapse's career leveling structure and leveling practices, creating a global leveling framework, job levels, competency models, and executing talent planning exercises for all departments creating visibility into a long career at Synapse; this included conducting a company-wide compensation strategy overhaul to re-align compensation bands and pay more competitively in talent markets.- Built Synapse’s first performance management program from the ground-up, addressing major events in an employee’s life with Synapse.- Operationalized HRBPs activities to drive better efficiency and ROI throughout the HR team, championing and implementing smarter tools and clearer documentation.- Managed logistics, communication planning, execution, and retention efforts for all Synapse reductions through 2023.

Blended role serving two purposes: function as the HR Partner for Cascade’s Investment Services organization and build and execute HR operational strategy for the internal HRBP team.

Owned design, planning, execution, and communication of high-impact operational and programmatic initiatives in support of Carta’s HR Business Partners and executive teams to actualize company-wide, people-first strategies. Significant achievements include:- Established company-wide leveling architecture and competency modeling for all teams at Carta which supported implementation of company-wide performance evaluation reinforcing Carta’s values- Operationalized change management and systems re-engineering to support evolution from accrued PTO to a global flex-PTO policy and internal mobility through the execution of an internal job market- Built Carta’s first HR Help Desk in Jira to encourage a single entry point to employee requests and feedback- Revised internal employee and job data models in HRIS, creating more reliable sources for employee data- Owned communication plans for C-suite regarding proposals and updates from the People Team- Entrusted to lead end-to-end project to transition HRIS to a new vendor, from RFP to implementation- Drafted operating principle for Diversity and Inclusion which eventually made it to our Employee Handbook. Served as a founding member of Carta’s first ERG focused purely on allyship initiatives.

Customer-first software implementation and services leader, functioning as a player-coach, managing 7 reports while completing over 300+ customer implementations ranging from SMB to Enterprise level.- Built group and individual development plans resulting in an increase of NPS to 50+ for team members- Served as go-to contact for account escalations, navigating complex client situations to salvage contracts- Implemented “Relationship Management” training for all team members to handle common objections

Functioned as the equity expert for new Carta clients, managing relationships with C-suite executives and their legal partners to implement their capitalization information into Carta.

- Facilitated production forecasting and planting schedules with prediction models based on customer history to minimize shrink (product churn);- Exercised a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion while acting as a liaison in communications between line employees, C-Level management, vendors, SMEs, and stakeholders;- Managed third-party suppliers and service providers to ensure regulatory compliance, adherence to production and service specifications, and appropriate raw material procurement while maintaining budget;- Functioned as the company’s on-site SQF practitioner with working knowledge and successful implementation of the SQF code version 7.2. We regularly passed multiple facilities with a rating of 90+ year-over-year.- Oversaw a team of 20 production staff (line workers, supervisors, and maintenance crews)

- Managed accurate verification of day-to-day accounting and quality control paperwork and analyzed the results to maximize safety and efficiency;- Developed and implemented comprehensive educational on-the-job training programs to adhere to local, state and federal regulations.

It was my responsibility at this weekly publication to assign stories to reporters for the Features section of the newspaper, then manage the completion and coverage of local event stories. Duties included mentoring reporters to improve their own journalistic talents and improve written composition of ideas. Stories were also fact-checked and edited for accuracy, then clarity, and finally creativity. Lastly, after stories were covered and written, I focused on page layout and design to create compelling copy for our readership.

Programmed script and logged quality control and technical bugs into networked database. Developed test cases for internal proprietary iPhone project using XML scripting. Worked with and tested internal coding language on mobile devices (Android, iOS).
