Fiscal Grants Manager, Governor'S Office Of Crime Prevention And Policy
CurrentManage the workflow grant operations within the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy (GOCPP)’s Grants Management System (GMS) of several Department of Justice (DOJ), Health and Human Services Federal and State Law Enforcement and Victim Service awards in partnerships with Fiscal Grants Specialists, Program Managers and Finance Team. Work with program staff to ensure fiscal grant compliance on the fund source level by reviewing grant fund source information from the GOCPP Grant Management System (GMS), tracking and monitoring fund source balances to identify un-obligated funds, excess expenditures and funding sources due to close, and meetings with the Deputy Director, Funding Chief, Program Fund Managers to discuss options for resolution and a plan of action. Supervise the review application budgets for proper descriptions and allowable costs. Update and maintain federal grant folders in the Grants Management System. Train, monitor, and manage fiscal activity within the GOCPP (GMS) database and to evaluate the information provided for the use of managing the fiscal process. Review and maintain of grant fund source information and requirements into the GOCPP (GMS). Update any changes based on Grant Adjustment Notices (GANs) from the funding source received from the DOJ’s Just Grants System. Award applications in the GMS and verify budgets. Organize and move funds between Program Funding Years and Grant Fund Distributions (GFDs) in order to properly award sub grants within the GMS. Prescribe and oversee the development and training of the Fiscal Specialists. Along with the Fiscal Specialists help present fiscal guidelines during Technical Assistance Trainings (TAs) relative to posted Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA) and post award information. Work with IT to update Grantee’s Toolbox information on the GOCPP website as a resource to internal staff and sub recipients.
