Imaging Informatics Track, Musculoskeletal Imaging Mini-Fellowship

-Developed movement and localization software for Pioneer 3-AT robots using ROS.-Adapted visual SAM algorithms for use with a Microsoft Kinect. -Worked with convolutional neural networks to detect and localize pedestrians.

-Worked on the Hierarchical Temporal Memory framework, a computational model of the neocortex, that learns spatial and temporal patterns from large datasets. -Developed new description files to organize parameter selection. -Developed a priori hill-climbing algorithms to optimize parameter selection within the HTM framework that reduced prediction error.

One of eight teaching assistants for the Data Structures and Algorithms course taught by Monica Sweat - approximately 154 undergraduate students. In this course the TA responsibilities included: weekly preparation of quizzes, homework, and their solutions; grading problem sets; teaching a one and half hour recitation every week; and holding office hours for three hours a week.

Ported Ubuntu Linux to a Gumstix microcomputer that ran on small autonomoushumanoid platform. We then used this infrastructure to implement statically balancedwalking gaits on this robot. I also developed a novel motion planning algorithm tohandle movement and collision avoidance in high-dimensional configuration spaces thatused obstacles as a guide for planning.

-Developed automated application signing technology to make updates to the banking application more efficient and timely. -Refractored the mobile application software.
