I felt extremely grateful for my own life but also sad that over 800 million people on our planet go to bed malnourished on a daily basis. From then on, my passion for the food industry developed. I wanted to learn all aspects related to food: its production, its business, its supply chain, its nutrition, and its problems. I wanted to help end food insecurity, hunger, and help feed as many people as I could.At Zentein Nutrition, we create delicious, high protein foods that fuel mental and physical performancewithout the use of artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colourings, and hydrogenated oils. The end goal is to create shelf stable, nutritious foods that can be distributed across the world to support human nutrition and potential.At Terra Optima Labs, we strive to close the loop on food waste and turn it into nutritious soil using bacteria, worms, and fungi. The outputs from these organisms can be used in agriculture and harnessed to grow delicious and nutritious food while regenerating soils. We also plant the seed for our future by providing education to students on the matters of sustainability, circularity, agriculture, and the natural technologies that can be used to turn waste into resource.
