Project Undertaken:YANBU NATIONAL PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY (YANSAB)Cell Type Cooling Tower and Seawater Pump Station ProjectYanbu Industrial City, Yanbu Al-bahr, KSAInclusive Dates: February 2007 to March 2009Position: QA/QC Engineer (Civil and Cathodic Protection)Duties and Responsibilities:• Ensure that QA/QC activities comply with the requirements of SABIC engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction.• Inspect and monitor excavation and backfilling works, rebar arrangement, emplacement of cathodic protection and embedded items, formworks installation and alignment and concreting works to ensure that it is being carried out as per QC standard.• Ensure that request for inspection (RFI) and other required documents was raise on time and maintain quality record logs.• Assist the Client’s Representative during inspection and coordinate the changes and/or additional works done and components installed.• Prepare all documents to be submitted to the clients such as Method Statement for rectification works, Materials Submittals, Red line/As built drawings and other related documents.• Monitor and check rectification works and close out all items on punch list.• Ensure proper arrangement and compilation of documents and handed over it to the client (Fluor / Yansab).
