The ClinicalKey Data Team was tasked with running sophisticated queries against massive datasets to mine and generate insight from (un)structured data. I placed focus primarily on building distributed components, systems, and tools that directly impacted product feature decisions at Elsevier. This not only created immense value for users, but also provided Elsevier with an incredibly rich dataset to transform and analyze in order to continuously improve the effectiveness of ClinicalKey.

Assisted with the development effort and operations for the ClinicalKey medical search engine. ClinicalKey is a dynamic clinical resource designed to provide physicians with fast, clinically-relevant answers from Elsevier’s vast library of proprietary medical and surgical content.

Developed the core templating/typesetting engine for Project Mosaic.Designed and implemented the lexical analyzer responsible for discovering lexemes corresponding to and constituting an entry in the symbol table (external lexicon) used by the templating/typesetting engine when parsing medical/institutional content. The symbol table introduced the corresponding markup for each occurrence of a known lexeme during transformation.

Evaluated technologies, security and authentication mechanisms and services required to enable Air Force Weather (AFW) data and tailored products to be available to authorized and authenticated users on Android platforms.
