Cloud computing has been on my radar for a couple of years because of its disruptive business model. When our company decided to go for Software as a Service ( SaaS ) as a strategic priority, I took the chance - To lead a team implementing the so-called Landing Zone services.- To coordinate linking back-office processes and tools with the cloud’s capabilities.

AGFA HealthCare develops hospital equipment. Software is the primary or a key technology of this equipment. In one of the R&D centres, I am responsible for the development process. In a project-oriented approach, I initiate and manage process changes to improve cost-efficiency, quality and compliance.
As a team lead of the requirements engineers, I assume regular line management responsibilities ( planning and follow-up, target setting and evaluation, etc. ).My personal ambition in this position is two-fold:- make my requirements engineers take a leading role in all aspects of defining product requirements: defining the scope, involving all stakeholders, communicating requirements information to developers ( software, documentation, ... ), verification and validation staff, etc...- deploying modern information management technologies in our current MS-Word oriented content management practices; i.o.w. ensuring RequisitePro is accepted in our regulatory controlled development environment
Key achievements :- Introduction of a structured testing methodology, based on TMap- Introduction of automated testing, using QA-Partner ( Segue ) and WinRunner ( Mercury Interactive )- Raised the Y2K concern- Managed – and passed – a local Y2K projectMain responsibilities :- Team lead, Building up from a 2-man team in 1994 to 16 persons in 2000- Test engineer- Design and manage test automation activities
