The Emerging Market Fund (EMF) is actively managed by graduate students in the Lundquist College of Business. As analysts, we perform valuations of existing and potential holdings in emerging markets and use our quantitative findings to make our recommendations (buy/sell/hold) to the group with the use of qualitative presentations and written reports. The goal of of the EMF is to outperform the MSCI Emerging Markets Index benchmark.

As part of Campus Design & Construction, I assisted internal teams (Accounting, Contracts, Project Management), as well as external vendors (architects, contractors, consultants, etc.) to finalize contracts and invoices for university-related projects. Each year, I oversaw 300+ new vendor accounts and conducted continued maintenance on 1000+ amended accounts with the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Specifically, I analyzed, diagnosed, and solved account issues with regards to bonds, contracts, insurance, and invoices. In 2016, I added accounts payable responsibilities for consistently reliable and superior performance.

As part of the branding team for Greenhorn Marketing, I specialized in working with our client, DIY Tea & Beyond, to enhance their social media presence and brand awareness while also improving their in-store experience. The team did this through the implementation of a new branding & style guide. With the creation of this guide, I used Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create a rendering of the new interior of the shop to illustrate the implementation of the suggested branding & style elements in the store. This rendering also included a redesign of the business' floor plan that maximized the store's open space to improve customer experience.

The YEC was created to establish leadership opportunities for the community's youth to create a lasting impact and a voice in local government. As co-chair, I served as the liaison with the YEC's partnering organization, Tomorrow's Leaders Today, who provides annual funding and mentorship for our council. Led seminars and workshops at Chop's Teen Club focusing on youth involvement and team building. Led discussions and negotiations with County Supervisors regarding the youth's influence in local government, which earned two youth-designated seats on the Sonoma County Health Action Committee. Led the recruiting efforts of the YEC with the use of interactive workshops at local high schools and Chop's Teen Club to establish the future of an expanded council.
