Als kwartiermaker van het programma Digitaal Fit ben ik vanaf januari 2024 samen met de medewerkers van EZK en LNV aan de slag om hun digitale competenties naar een hoger niveau te ontwikkelen. De digitale werkelijkheid van tegenwoordig brengt met zich mee dat het belangrijk is om na te denken over nieuwe uitgangspunten op het gebied van het organiseren van ons werk. Wat vraagt de verregaande digitalisering van onze houding en ons gedrag, zowel op individueel als op organisatieniveau. Digitale Fitheid heeft dan ook alles te maken met organisatieontwikkeling. Het gaat niet alleen over tools, maar ook over digitale kennis, digitale vaardigheden en gedragsverandering

Transparantie en openbaarheid in de informatieverstrekking vanuit de overheid is essentieel om het vertrouwen in de overheid te versterken. De wet Open Overheid (Woo) vervangt vanaf 1 mei 2022 de Wet Openbaarheid van Bestuur (Wob). Als Projectleider Openbaarheid & Woo hou ik me bezig met alle ontwikkelingen rondom actieve en passieve openbaarheid voor de Ministeries van Economische Zaken en Klimaat (EZK) en Landbouw, Natuur en Voedselkwaliteit (LNV).

As Business Developer I was responsible for developing Large Scale Projects, comprising multiple components from equipment delivery and installation until advice on infrastructure upgrading and capacity building of staff. Together with our customers, I defined the most suitable solution to tackle healthcare challenges in their hospitals. I analyzed complex hospital or regional situations to adjust the solution to this specific requirements. This results in better health outcomes, higher patient and staff satisfaction and lower costs of care.

As senior consultant at AMPC, I have executed feasibility studies and market assessments in Uganda and Burkina Faso to develop projects that qualified for (Dutch) donor funding. Subsequently, I managed the application process for DRIVE funding. I contributed to writing project proposals for healthcare projects in Ethiopia, Palestine, Tanzania, Kenya, Togo and Ivory Coast. During my travels through Africa, I performed assessments of the Infrastructure of Health Facilities, the status of medical - and non-medical equipment in these facilities as well as the availability of human resources and the training needs for clinical and technical healthcare staff. My in-depth knowledge of effective training programs contributed to the successful advice on these subjects.

I was responsible as project manager for the implementation of the clinical and technical training component in large donor funded projects in Uganda, Ghana, Kenya and Egypt. In this role, I have been in regular contact with Hospital Managers, Ministries of Health, Ministries of Education and Dutch Embassies. Main objective of these projects was to strengthen the diagnostic capacity of health facilities nationwide in a sustainable way. Medical Imaging and Operating Theatre equipment was installed in health facilities, together with an extensive training program for clinical and non-clinical staff. Another important aspect of these projects was strengthening the teaching competencies of local training institutions through capacity building of teachers and curriculum development support. My extensive knowledge on developing training programs, combined with my ability to enhance and supervise the improvement of teaching skills of local teachers, has been an important contribution to the successful implementation of this component.

Managing and implementing ultrasound training and nursing training in Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia was my core responsibility. I developed course content for basic ultrasound courses as well as for advanced ultrasound courses. I delivered these training courses in the various countries. Acquiring new projects.

I developed a full 4-year curriculum for higher ultrasound education at the Medical Imaging education department (MBRT), and I developed a Minor "Obstetrical Ultrasound" for the Academy of Midwifery. I implemented the ultrasound training in the curriculum and was a student counselor. Furthermore, I was responsible for an exchange program with universities in Denmark and Norway.
