Ascension Entertainment is an international club and festival investment group with an in-house production team operating in the United States and Asia. My role as Audio Director includes scoring, audio capture, and audio post production for content as well as guiding the group on relevant and upcoming artists to book based on trends in the electronic music industry.

Audio Mixer (A1) at John Paul Jones Arena for UVA basketball. Camera Operation and Audio Capture for UVA sports broadcasts. This position has given me great insight into the world of broadcast media. The team is incredibly knowledgable and learning from them has been a great opportunity for me to gain insight into live broadcast camera operation, stadium audio systems, as well as an inside look into how professional sports broadcasts are produced as games are broadcast to ESPN / ACCN.

My Apprenticeship with Mike Moxham at Oto Zen was integral to my development as an audio engineer. Through this, I learned audio post production and dialogue editing, studio mixing concepts, and gained live mixing experience.

The MRC is a recording studio, performance space, and learning center for 6th - 12th grade students. During my time there I mixed live shows, maintained the cleanliness of the building, assisted in recording, and taught my own music production techniques to students.

Mixing for bands at the Front Porch was an incredibly positive experience for me largely due to the people involved. The staff is incredibly passionate about teaching, and sharing music, and I was very lucky to spend time there. I spent about 6 months as a Live Sound Engineer and it helped me develop my mixing skills and ability to make judgements about stage setup and it allowed me to become comfortable working with bands. I attribute much of my ability to work efficiently and solve audio problems quickly to my experience working here.

I began collective 22 as a college project to connect fellow creative students and colleagues to each other. We organized multiple shows, gained fashion industry experience working with the streetwear brand Arcus, and creative an inclusive environment for creative individuals to gain experience.

I have spent three summers working as a Golf Course Attendant. I have gained so much positive experience by working dynamically as the jobs conditions vary from day to day. The people that I have met while working here have helped shape me into a more forward thinking and positive person, while vastly improving my communication skills.

Open Ears is a loose term for a media production business that I started with my best friend in 2017. He is an incredible Videographer and Graphic Artist, so with my passion for producing, it made sense to combine our skills and begin creating Music and Visual Artwork for artists in the Charlottesville area. Since then, we have created Audio/Visual Media and/or assisted in marketing for a variety of people including: App Designers, Clothing Brands, Musicians, Professional Athletes, Vocalists, Virtual Reality Designers, and a multitude of Instagram Influencers with followings ranging from 500 to 250,000 followers. We have since ended the open ears project in order to launch TWENTY // TWO
