Multidisciplinary project management including the administration of all aspects of the project such as scope definition, planning, resource management, communication, risk management, progress monitoring, closure and final evaluation. Involvement in sizing, selection, and application of equipment/systems based on specific customer needs, sometimes working in conjunction with the headquarters in Kansas City/MO. These equipment are often related to pneumatic conveying systems for powders and bulk materials or weighing and dosing systems. Specialized corporate support for sizing, calculation, and structural analysis issues, utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) where applicable. Objectives can be diverse such as validating a new design, scaling an existing project, structural optimization for increased rigidity and/or reduced mass, failure analysis, modal analysis, fatigue life determination, among others.

As a Ljungström air preheater focused application engineer, my activities include performing performance calculations, budgeting (reforms, spare parts and new equipments), sizing new machines based on process data and customer demands, and optimizing internal manufacturing processes for cost and time reduction.As a quality manager, my main activities include leading the renewal processes of the ISO9000 certificate, managing quality documents (standards, procedures, forms, etc.), perform the supplier qualification and monitoring program, managing non-conformance records (NCRs) and related treatments, reporting on some KPIs to the headquarters, and automating some internal processes through Microsoft SharePoint workflows.
