- Led a team of 15 engineers and analysts building out Affirm’s analytic and experiment tooling monitoring business needs like delinquency rates, company revenue and quarterly spend.- Established SLAs for the team and established process during outages reducing Time to Recover by ~60% (3 days to 5) when critical pipelines began to fail.

- Led a team of 3 engineers building out Affirm’s A/B Testing platform for a company of ~2000 employees running ~120 experiments at any given time which is a unique challenge in the financial industry where outcomes from underwriting decisions are only realized 60-90 days after a loan is provided.-During my tenure at the company, the number of experiments ran in the quarter increased by 3x.

Google Assistant (Q4 2017 - Q1 2021)Developed Data Processing libraries & maintained the canonical dataset used to analyze performance of the Google Assistant. I was also responsible for operationalizing several ML efforts by collaborating with model developers to transition their ad-hoc solutions to full fledge pipelines. Google Display Ads (Q2 2014 - Q3 2017)Led effort to break out compute-lite ad telemetry (e.g. views, clicks, youtube pauses) services from more generic ad services (e.g. rendering ads, RTB). I later designed & implemented (Sarbane-Oxley) SOX compliance systems to validate revenue generated from ads as I began focusing on creating data pipelines.

Primarily responsible for keeping the system's integration with Intuit's Financial API updated. Added functionality to retrieve, track, and present pending transactions.Added a card comparison tool to help users pick credit cards with the best rewards for them while still minimizing the costs they would have to pay for membership.Helped change the implementation of provisioning tools from Chef-server to Chef-solo so that we could remove servers responsible for keeping track of dependencies and minimize costs.

Worked with CoffeeScript, Twitter-Bootstrap, less.js, and knockout.js to completely redesign a web page that mobile developers could use to determine engagement of twitter and facebook pages associated with their applications by tracking likes, reposts, tweets, and other user statistics.Added support for tracking an application's Facebook engagement on top of the already supported Twitter engagement and presented it to the user in a unified view.Implemented a lazy loader to minimize the number of calls to Twitter and Facebook and speed up the load time of the analytics page for tweets and Facebook posts.

Developed a portion of a web application that automated the manipulation of data from diagnostic work (e.g. blood work), reducing the work lab technicians had to finish before their final analysis- Used Ruby and MongoDB to write the web services.Designed a linear time algorithm to replace an existing quadratic time algorithm for processing bio-fluid information (worst case time reduced from 60 mins to 5 mins).Created automated test suite for legacy code using Nunit and Specflow frameworks to refactor code and substantially reduce code base.

Implemented a revision of the client’s medical billing software from VB6 (an outdated language) to work in the Windows 7 environment. Implemented a MVC architecture separating the persistence of information and the business logic which in turn resulted in a substantial reduction in the code base.
