Driven - Service Oriented - Critical ThinkerI am a rising senior and am studying chemistry. I am working for the Furman Chemistry department to investigate emissive platinum compounds. I am dedicated to the health and wellbeing of others and would like to continue that dedication through medicine. It is my ultimate goal to get accepted and subsequently graduate from medical school. I am motivated by my desire to help my community maintain healthy lifestyles and clean living. I discovered a love of helping others through the Boy Scouts of America. My role model for becoming a physician is my grandfather who is a kind and caring man who dedicated his life to his community. I believe my education at Furman University has prepared my well for a career in medicine and I look forward to the next step in my journey. I am seeking to build my connections within the chemical and medical communities.
