As the founder of Africa Renewables Advancement, I’m on a mission to promote the widespread adoption of renewable energy across the continent. I approach each challenge with a growth mindset and hands-on expertise, always eager to learn and find new solutions in a rapidly evolving field.In my role at Knights Energy, I lead research focused on green hydrogen for transport. My vision is clear: I want Africa to not just follow technological advancements but to play a crucial role in leading the way.My work encompasses a variety of groundbreaking projects. I’m particularly interested in ensuring grid stability and developing smart cities, including initiatives like Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) systems. I’m also excited about the future of e-mobility and actively explore how AI and IoT can enhance smart charging systems for better efficiency and connectivity. Waste management is another area of focus for me; I believe that organic waste holds great potential for producing hydrogen. Instead of relying on the usual water sources, I’m innovatively employing plasma technology to extract hydrogen from organic compounds. This helps reduce methane emissions significantly more potent than carbon dioxide and creates valuable byproducts.My latest venture involves developing a financing model that leverages carbon markets and Environmental Resource Purchase Agreements (ERPAs) to minimize investment risks. This reflects my commitment to creating scalable and impactful solutions for Africa’s renewable energy sector. With a solid academic background in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics, I combine vision with action, continually seeking out partnerships and initiatives to elevate Africa's contribution to the global fight against climate change.
