ULLINK is an application that provides execution and order management facilities for the Equities and Futures areas of HSBC. The supported transactions are: straight through processing, strategy orders, options, etc. It is a multithreaded system, which receives orders from the buy-side clients and provides order management and execution. The system has connectivity with buy-side clients as well as exchanges. Technical Environment: Linux, Windows, UNIX, Java, Perl, Oracle, FIX.Detail:• Support and troubleshooting for the Futures/Derivatives Trading Desk.• I designed and developed a tool that tracks trading latency using Perl.• I designed and developed an application to commit trading records to ATMOS Object Store using REST API. • I promote DEVOPS framework across the Futures team using JENKINS Continuous Integration.• I created Ansible YML scripts to automate deployments and testing as part of DevOps.

I was selected among 126 applicants to lead one of 4 Innovation Fellowship Program projects across the company. Designed and developed a collaboration tool using SOLR search engine (Glue). We have applied for a patent. I am passionate to build and coordinate teams. I use Agile to foster collaboration.

Libra is a system that provides clearing and matching facilities for the Futures Operations area of Goldman Sachs. It matches execution orders coming from GS Front Office systems with trade feeds from the various Clearing Houses, such as NYMEX.Detail:Redesigned, developed and test the Libra feed to PETS (firm wide real time position system). The original implementation, was never used by Futures Operations or clients because accuracy problems ( The new implementation has reduced breaks to 0.3% from 5%. Most of the breaks now are due to data quality and not software (JMS, Sybase 12.5).Designed, developed and tested the modifications to the GUI and Matching Engine components for the Libra APS project (Average Price System). It allows the user to match and clear transactions based on price average. The system saves Futures Operations time when dealing with APS trades, since they don't need to deal directly with the Clearing House APS system. (Java SWING; Sybase 12.5).

Project: UBS created a Fixed Income area inside the its Prime Brokerage. In order to support the newly created area we build a web portal, where Hedge Funds can access reports such as Cash Ledger, Cash Projection, Fail Trades, Position, etc. Detail:Designed and developed trade capture and processing system (real-time) for repos using Websphere 5.1, MQ Series, JMS and Sybase 12.5. Repos are booked to a Martini application and the trades are sent as XML documents to a reporting database via MQ.Redesigned the Cash Ledger report using Sybase stored procedures. They cross-reference 3 different data feeds for accuracy. Before that, the report was using subsystems records to build up the balances, which have discrepancies with ADP Money Line. This was a big accomplishment for the newly created Fixed Income Prime Brokerage area.Created a Multipurpose Java Program to load any XML document to the database.

Project: Revlon brought in house its web site infrastructure, which was outsourced to external vendor. We have to reconfigure data feeds from its product catalog database to the web site back end. Also the site was extended with additional features to enrich the user experience; and existing sections were redesigned with the use dynamic web pages.Detail:• Advised management regarding which development platform should be adopted by the enterprise (J2EE versus .Net).• Created a powerful search engine using Oracle 8i, T-SQL, COM+, ASP and DHTML allowing consumers to find products and their ingredients online: http://www.almay.com/• Lead a team of 3 making enhancements as well as adding new functionality to Almay.com and Revlon.com sites, using ASP, DHTML and JavaScript.• Designed and delivered new database architecture using ERWIN for a homegrown Content Management System to support Revlon.com and Almay.com sites.
