I have a B.S. degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills from leading faculty and industry experts. I also have an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Dallas College, where I honed my communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Currently, I am a Supply Chain Sourcing and Contracts Manager at U.S. Renal Care, where I handle various aspects of contract management, negotiation, and compliance. I draft and assess contract language revisions, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure alignment with internal standards. I manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and expirations, and drive process improvement. I also coordinate project initiatives, participate in vendor meetings, and monitor contract performance. I maintain up-to-date contracts, analyze market forces and conduct supply and spend analysis, and ensure pricing accuracy. I address supplier and stakeholder inquiries, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.Previously, I was at Methodist Health System, where I managed and contributed to several initiatives that aimed to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare delivery. With the help of my team, I reduced chemotherapy infusion and medication delivery wait time by 15 minutes, increased projected revenue by over $2.3 million, and supported a major hospital expansion, among other achievements. I also trained and engaged employees to practice High Reliability Organization (HRO) behaviors and promote strategies such as reporting safety events to reduce the rate of preventable errors.I am passionate about making healthcare as accessible and hospitable as possible, and compassionate about the needs and experiences of patients, their families, and clinical staff.
