The intent is to inspire systemic change using engineered systems, reaching out to over 100 students. Corresponded with high schools and youth organizations, resulting in a 400% increase in workshops facilitated in comparison to the 2014/15 year.

Responsible for hiring a team of directors and the management of their associated tasks, resulting in a monetary increase in the organization raising $10,000. I raised awareness among the Queen’s community resulting in a 200% increase in sponsorship applicants. Other tasks involve, writing grants, stewardship reports and developing the first ever sponsorship package for the Queen's University Chapter.

Hired into the Department of Rail and Transportation. Worked onsite at Wellesley Station – Second Exit Expansion project for the Toronto Transit Commission, field work resulted in an increased understanding of the practical applications of engineering design on a construction site as well as the impact of effective design on many stakeholders. Through this summer internship I learned the importance of proper representation of a consulting firm while working alongside a contractor and client, which improved communication and professional practice

General coordination and supervision of construction site, including all site visitors and safety protocol . I was responsible for issuing hot work permits and ensuring all work on site was in accordance with the engineered drawings and contract documents.Duties include: testing concrete, aiding in geotechnical inspections of structural caissons, site safety and writing daily reports which included every individual on site and all site activities.
