In less than 10 years I built New Zealand's largest private music school (Goodtime Music Academy) from 30 students to 2,000+ p/w and a team of about 60 people (Sold Dec 2019)Alongside my music school I also built a charitable trust (The Goodtime Foundation) that has raised hundreds of thousands to provide free music lessons and mentoring for at-risk youth. I am currently the Chairman of the board for the trust.I built an online music programme called Rad Rhythm for primary / elementary schools that’s taught over 100,000 children around the world and counting. In 2012, I won a ‘Local Hero Medal’ at the New Zealander of the Year Awards for the charitable work of my music school.In 2017, I won the Young Business Person of the Year’ - the only person to ever do this in the music and education sector in our country. I now run 'Build a Music School' which is a global community of over 350 music schools in 20+ countries who are building their own music schools based on the model I developed at Goodtime Music Academy. I am also a co-founder in a financial technology SAAS company called 'Hello Cashflow' which I am building with two friends.
