Employed under the new business division, I reported to the General Manager and was the Project Manager responsible for leading our product through the validation phase. I personally managed the design of the product, procurement and delivery of materials, management of contractors on site and client liaison.

- Responsible for construction planning (construction methodology, sequence, logistics, plant & equipment) on bids for projects in the South East Asia region in the energy, buildings, transport and civil infrastructure sectors. - I was also the Bid Manager for the Jakarta International School project. Internally, I managed a team of engineers, estimators, planners and risk analysts during the bid process from prospect analysis to submission of bid. Externally, I was responsible for management and communication of client and sub-contractor relations.

- Utilized standard project management tools for cost management, earned value analysis, schedule tracking, quality control, scope and client management.- Managed the complete engineering design life cycle. This includes prospect viability analysis, bid process, contract and price negotiation, project start up, concept and detailed design, documentation, delivery and post delivery follow up.- Design Management for a wide range of transport, drainage, structural, civil and environmental design projects. - Business Development and Marketing of the company in the North West Region.

The $360 million rail project, scheduled for completion in 2014, is the first stage of the Perth City Link. The scope of works includes:- Sinking the Fremantle Line between William Street and Lake/King Street. This will create almost 600m of a new covered section of the Fremantle Line.- Upgrading Perth Station with new tiling, lighting and services and convert the current Platform 9 into an island Platform 8/9.- Creating a new tunnel under the northern end of the Barrack Street Bridge to service the new Platform 9.- Extending the existing Joondalup line tunnel roof from Lake to Milligan Streets to be in line with the new Fremantle Line tunnel.- Creating a new pedestrian underpass connecting Perth Underground Station to all the platforms at Perth Station.

Jointly funded by the State and Federal Governments, the $350 million Great Eastern Highway upgrade will ultimately see a 4.2 kilometre section of the route, between Kooyong Road and Tonkin Highway, widened from four to six lanes with a number of ancillary improvements.In order to achieve this, a new eastbound carriageway will be constructed on the river side of the existing highway. A central median will also be constructed for the full length of the upgrade, increasing the highway’s efficiency and limiting the number of conflicting movements.Understanding of the needs of local business, the project will upgrade major intersections to include dedicated turning movements, as well as provide U-turn facilities at key locations. This will ensure appropriate access to businesses and properties is maintained.A key component of the project is the relocation of existing and installation of new utilities such as telecommunications, water, power and gas. In order to minimise disruption during the works, City East Alliance undertook a thorough service location survey prior to construction.With a variety of geographical constraints and large number of directly affected land owners, the Great Eastern Highway upgrade is an extremely challenging project. The Alliance identified the major stakeholder concerns, including access, traffic and service relocation and is working with stakeholders to address and mitigate these issues where possible.
