As a Malaysian born in Johor, I grew up in a culturally rich environment, making it easier to absorb and learn different languages and traditions more quickly. I love mathematics and science, which my parents can attest to because I always tell them I want to be a scientist when I grow up, and I am always happy when I attend mathematics tuition. After finishing secondary school at Seri Omega private and international school, I felt happy when I got the chance to study at Singapore Polytechnic for Diploma in Bioengineering. Learning in Singapore is a new challenge for me as this is the first time I have lived alone after 18 years of a stress-free and blessed life with my family in Kulai, Johor. I initially struggled as I am not an English native speaker studying in an English-based country. Still, with experience and determination, I could adapt to it, make new friends, and successfully graduate from 3 years of study at Singapore Polytechnic. I am a Monash University Malaysia student studying for a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biotechnology. I wish to continue pursuing my dream of being successful and helping everyone in need with my skills and ability.
