During my internship, I have undertaken several web application penetration testing projects, focusing on various vulnerabilities including:- HTML Injection- Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)- Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR)- Open RedirectsI have worked on approximately 50 different projects, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities to enhance my skills in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities. This experience has significantly strengthened my expertise in web application security and my ability to protect digital assets from potential threats.

Power Learn Project's mission encompasses training, skill acquisition, talent management, and mobility, all aimed at enabling young Africans to secure meaningful livelihoods. We catalyze transformative change among African youth by providing high-quality, decentralized tech training, equipping them with the skills they need for the future.

During my internship, I engaged in a variety of tasks that significantly enhanced my technical skill set. I executed a CHAPS Configuration Hardening Assessment PowerShell Script (CHAPS) on a Windows system, thoroughly analyzed the results, and compiled a detailed report summarizing the findings. Additionally, I conducted forensic image analysis using the SIFT Workstation, employing essential tools such as Volatility, Plaso, and other key utilities. These tools were instrumental in dissecting digital evidence effectively. Furthermore, my exploration of a case study highlighted the SIFT Workstation's effectiveness in digital forensics investigations, providing me with valuable insights into forensic methodologies and bolstering my expertise in this field.I undertook the responsibility of testing the password strength of employees and clients. To accomplish this, I utilized Syngsong, a tool that leverages song lyrics via the Genius API to create password guesses and employs Hashcat style masking to generate passphrases that adhere to password complexity standards.In this task, the objective was to introduce interns to Syngsong, enabling them to craft passphrases that meet password complexity requirements. Syngsong's functionality involves parsing song lyrics through the Genius API to generate password guesses. Its features include Hashcat style masking, facilitating the creation of complex and secure passphrases. By utilizing Syngsong, interns can efficiently enhance their understanding of password security and generate robust passphrases for testing purposes.

I was honored to be among the top 3.3% (550 out of 16500+ applicants) to complete all five levels of the program
