Mr. SHUM Kwok Fung Wilson is the Co-founder and CEO of SCALE InnoTech Limited. Specialized in STEM Education, SCALE advocates active learning, and provides consultancy services, innovative products and technical solutions to the education sector. Mr. Shum is also board member of the Link Charitable Foundation, an NGO promoting social inclusion of elderly and students with Special Education Needs. He is also one of the co-founders of "Ed21HK", a networking platform that promotes 21st century learning in Hong Kong.Mr. Shum has served in the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and multinational media companies. He has nearly 20 years of experience in technology research and development as well as product management. He completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at the Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Information Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Mr. Shum obtained Professional Scrum Master certification and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). Mr. Shum is keen to foster the development of STEM education and popular science and technology education in Hong Kong. He has served as guest lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the City University of Hong Kong. He has attended as speaker at the Hong Kong Productivity Council STEM Seminar series and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology GREAT Smart City Connect Conference. Mr. Shum has also served Jockey Club YouthCreate Series and other projects as mentor.
