Currently working as a Military Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in LPBJ/BYJ, more specifically as a Tower Supervisor and Tower Head Of Training (HOT). Throughout the years, since 2010, I've worked as an ATC, and got rated in the following places:• Beja (LPBJ/BYJ) (JAN 2011/NOV 2014) - (NOV 2020/ Ongoing);• Alverca (LPAR/AVR) (SET 2019/NOV 2020);• Terceira island (LPLA/TER) (SEP 2016/SEP 2019;• Montijo (LPMT) (NOV 2014/SEP 2015).The ratings obtained in these places were:• Tower Supervisor/Tower Operator;• Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) Operator;• Theoretical and On Job Training Instructor (OJTI);• Head of Tower ATC Training.My main responsibilities are:• Oversee daily air traffic operations of the Control Tower, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocols;• Provide separation to both civilian and military aircraft arriving or departing within the Control Area ensuring a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic;• Adaptability and capability to work in a fast pace changing environment;• Ability to provide solutions to complex situations in a reduced time frame and work under pressure;• Train and mentor new air traffic controllers to ensure adherence to safety protocols;• Implement a shift rotation system that improves efficiency and reduced fatigue in air traffic controllers;
