Clinical Electrophysiology and Basic Science/Translational research in cardiac conduction. Perform all EP procedures including complex ablations such as VT, and atrial fibrillation ablations, as well as device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, BiV ICDs and extractions) and SVT ablations (WPW, AVNRTs and atrial tachycardias). Created mouse knockout models with CRISPR gene editing system to study development of cardiac conduction system.Basic Science/translational research includes creating (using CRISPR gene modification system) and studying mutant mice to study defects in cardiac conduction system. Funded by NIH T32 training grant in payback phase.

Basic Science/translational research in conduction system diseases as well as diseases of sudden cardiac death employing mouse and human embryonic stem cells and well as mouse models. Clinical duties include clinical electrophysiology cases including atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia, VT, SVT diagnosis and ablation, pacemaker, ICD and BiV ICD implants and extractions.
